The St. Louis Cardinals got a big win at home on Friday night as they defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 7-1.

The Cardinals took advantage of four Brewers errors in the game. The biggest error was made by Jerry Hairston Jr. as he let a ball get by him at third base allowing two runs to score. Zach Greinke could not shut down the Cards as he allowed 7 hits, 5 runs (2 earned), and two walks in his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Matt Holliday had another great game in this NLCS going 3-5 in the game with 2 RBI. Albert Pujols, Yadier Molina, and Cardinals' starter Jamie Garcia each had an RBI in the game. Garcia went one out shy of 5 innings giving up 7 hits and one run. Octavio Dotel picked up the win as he went 1 1/3 innings picking up from where Garcia left off in the 5th inning. The rest of the Cardinals' bullpen went 3 innings giving up 2 hits and no runs. Jason Motte picked up his second save of the series giving his team four outs to close out the game.

The NLCS shifts back to Milwaukee as the two teams will face each other on Sunday in game 6.
