The NBA season is about return with games tipping off on July 30th live from Disney World. The big awards seem to be all but locked up though. With 8 games left for seeding then the playoffs Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo appears to be a lock for MVP and Memphis' Ja Morant seems to have Rookie of the Year locked up. The long-awaited debut of Sony's next-gen game console the PS5 is scheduled for tomorrow June 11th, 2020 at 4 pm EST. The original debut was postponed due to the ongoing protests revolving around the murder of George Floyd. Sony felt as though it wasn't the right time but tomorrow the wait is over.

So you're telling me there's a chance? The New York Knicks were in yet another "rebuilding season" before the league shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreak. With a record of 21 - 45 with 16 games left the Knicks were just about eliminated from the postseason. About 10 games behind the Magic for the 8th and final Eastern Conference playoff spot the Knicks were looking to next season and figuring out who would coach them next year. That may all change based on a reported expanded NBA tournament scenario.

Today marks 57 days without professional or Collegiate sports in the US. That's pretty terrible to think about for diehard sports fans like most of us but there could be hope brewing. UFC 249 will take place this Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida and May 17th NASCAR returns with the Darlington 400. Both will be without fans in attendance. So when will the major 4 sports leagues return? Will the MLB, NHL or NBA return before the NFL kicks off? There is a small amount of hope that MLB and or NBA could be back before football.
