The University of Albany Great Danes Athletic Director Mark Benson joined Levack and Goz to unveil the new logo for the UAlbany teams. The school's mascot Damien has a completely new look and it's awesome.

The University of Albany Great Danes football team is predicted to come in fourth in the Colonial Athletic Association by HERO sports. The Great Danes are coming off potentially the best season in program history making it to the second round of the FCS playoffs where they fell to Montana St on the Bobcats home field in Bozman, Montana.
Three UAlbany Great Dane football players have received preseason honors. Running Back Karl Mofor was named to the Hero Sports FCS All-American team. Fellow Great Danes Quarterback Jeff Undercuffler and Linebacker Levi Metheny made the second team.
The University of Albany Men's Lacrosse program is the result of years of blood, sweat, and tears from head coach Scott Marr. So when rumors began to swirl that Marr could possibly take the head coaching job at his alma mater John Hopkins University lacrosse fans all over the Capital Region were preparing for a heartbreak. Good news for all Great Danes fans as Marr decided to stay here at UAlbany.
It was a BIG weekend for the UAlbany Great Danes. Three members of the 2019 Football team have signed Undrafted Free Agent deals with NFL Teams.Defensive End Eli Mencer, Wide Receivers Juwan Green and Jarren Williams are all getting a shot to play on Sundays. We caught up with Head Coach Greg Gattuso to talk about these great players, any other guys he thinks could sign deals and the program.
UAlbany Men's Basketball Coach Will Brown has been navigating this crazy time and has some unique issues to handle. Not only is he forced to stay in touch with his players through video conferencing, recruiting via video an not in person but having players in Australia is another level. In the middle of all those challenges coach Brown is still finding time to help the American Cancer Society raise money through Coaches Vs Cancer.
The Premiere Lacrosse League will be returning to the Capital Region this Summer. UAlbany has announced they will be hosting the PLL for the second straight year. Meaning we will all get to see local favorites like Connor Fields at Casey Stadium again.
