Dr James andrews has confirmed there is no structural damage to CC Sabathia's right knee according to ESPN's Andrew Machand.

"I know he saw Dr. Andrews," Girardi said. "I think he agreed with the MRI. It's basically rest, get it to calm down and see when we can get it out there."

Sabathia had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee back in October 2010. There was some concern this was the same issue. CC had an MRI on Sunday morning, had the knee drained of fluid on Monday and was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

The team needs CC back ASAP considering we still don't know when Pineda will return, Nova is done for the season and Kuroda has not been lights out.
