The NBA Draft lottery is on Tuesday night and with the Knicks’ hopes left up to the fate of a pingpong ball, the player they could wind up with is ever-changing.

It’s been believed for a month that the Knicks would prefer Karl Anthony-Towns with either the first or second pick, assuming the first overall would be Duke’s Jahlil Okafor.

In Jeff Goodman’s latest mock draft, he believes that the Timberwolves would select Towns in the first spot, with not much of a need for a true center in Okafor.

One thing that almost everyone can agree on? The chances of Okafor and Towns being off the board by the time the third pick comes around is very strong.

If the Knicks can land any of the top two names, that would be an ideal situation. Outside of that, it would be interesting with D’Angelo Russell, Emmanuel Mudiay, Justise Winslow and Kristaps Porzingis left to choose from.
