Charlie Sheen is back in the news and it's not for the reasons you may think. Sheen has recently posted on Twitter that he is offering his services to potentially throw out the first pitch in a soon to be World Series game in Cleveland.

@CharlieSheen -"Major League  continues to be the gift that keeps on giving! if called upon, I'd be honored"

The Indians defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 5 of the ALCS earlier this week. The World Series appearance for Cleveland is their first since 1997 where they lost in Game 7 in walk off fashion to the Florida Marlins (now known as the Miami Marlins) Why would Charlie Sheen want to throw out the first pitch for Cleveland? In the 1989 film Major League Sheen starred as Indians pitcher Ricky "The Wild Thing" Vaughn. Vaughn was known in the film both for his lack of accuracy and his unique glasses he wore on the mound during pitching appearances. Some of Vaughn's most iconic moments from Major League are below. No official word yet on if Sheen will throw out a first pitch for a World Series game yet.
