Bad news for the Los Angeles Clippers.  One of the keys to their offense, Chauncey Billups, is now out for the rest of the season with a torn Achilles.

On Monday night Chauncey Billups suffered a season, and potentially career ending injury when he tore his Achilles tendon.  The team announced that Billups will miss the rest of the season, but Billups tells ESPN that he doesn't plan on retiring.

At 35 years old, Billups is near the end of his NBA career.  This is a tough injury to come back from at any age, but even more difficult for a veteran player like Billups.  He told ESPN's Chris Broussard that he doesn't want to go out like this, not after the career he has had.  He wants to go out on both feet.  Billups is a five time all-star and won an NBA title back in 2004 with the Detroit Pistons.
