Chauncey Billups Picked Up By Los Angeles Clippers

Veteran point guard Chauncey Billups once again finds himself with a new team and with some great young talent.  The Clippers pick him up off Waivers after pulling out of the Chris Paul talks.

Despite things not working out in the Chris Paul trade, the Clippers do end up gaining on Monday.  They have acquired Chauncey Billups and much like he did with the Knicks last season, he will add some great play to LA's lineup.  The Clippers didn't seem to be nervous about Billups threats of retirement if he were claimed by a team that he didn't want to go to.

Billups is just another building block for the Clippers who added Caron Butler and already have great young talent in Blake Griffin.  With the addition of a veteran leader like Billups the Clippers, not the Lakers, may end up the best basketball team in LA this season.
