According to the Times Union, cheering for Usain Bolt caused quite a commotion.

"Police evacuated Terminal 8 as a precaution around 9:30 p.m. Sunday after receiving a 911 call reporting the sound of a gunshot near the departures area. The timing of the scare coincided with the broadcast Usain Bolt's comeback win in the Olympic 100 meter sprint final, according to multiple media reports."

Well this is a new one. Apparently fans of Bolt may have been a little too loud cheering him in the Olympics. It was so loud that JFK airport security responded as if there were gunshots. It was a great day for the country of Jamaica!
