The Kansas City Chiefs were able to outlast the San Diego Chargers 23-20 in overtime on Monday Night Football.  Philip Rivers and the Chargers literally let a win slip through their fingers.

It was a crazy Monday Night Football game in Kansas City between the Chargers and Chiefs.  The game came down to the final minute of regulation.  The score was tied 20-20.  Philip Rivers and the Chargers were at the Chiefs' 15-yard line.  After Jacob Hester rushed for a first down, Philip Rivers fumbled the snap.  The Chargers were simply going to get the football lined up in the middle of the field for a Nick Novak game-winning field goal attempt.

Rivers closed his hands together before the snap from center Nick Hardwick reached Rivers' palms.  It was an inexcusable mistake.  After losing the coin toss in overtime, the Chiefs were able to drive to the Chargers' 12-yard line to set up a 30-yard game-winning kick by Ryan Succop.  The Chiefs were able to score an improbable 23-20 overtime win.  Unbelievable.  The Chargers fall to 4-3 while the Chiefs improve to 4-3.  The Chargers host the Packers next Sunday.  The Chiefs host the Dolphins.
