Chris Archer Has Owned The Yankees, Can They Beat Him Tonight?

The Yankees have not had much luck against Tampa Bay starting pitcher Chris Archer. Archer has the opportunity to become the sixth pitcher all time to win their first six decisions against the Yankees. He would join a list of names like Bernie Boland, Bill Lee, Schoolboy Rowe, Tom Phoebus and Greg Hibbard. all those giant names opened their careers 6-0 versus the Yankees since 1914 or later.

Archer is 5-0 with a 1.93 ERA in six career starts against New York. This is his first time seeing the Yankees this season. Nathan Eovaldi will start for the Pinstripes tonight in an attempt to keep Archer from going 6-0 against the Yankees.
