After spending Monday and Tuesday at the Jets facility, Johnson said at the Nets game Tuesday night that he was going to continue evaluating his options and possibly visit other teams.

On Wednesday afternoon, the former Tennessee Titan opted to end his free agency that lasted roughly one week.

Johnson was owed $8 million against the cap from the Titans this season but the 28-year old has also voiced his unhappiness about the organization earlier this year, saying that he did not want to play for them if was not used correctly.

The former East Carolina star has had six straight 1,000+ yard NFL seasons but is coming off statistically his worst year, averaging 3.9 yards per carry. The speedy back also had surgery on a torn meniscus this off-season.

Johnson is now the best running back on the Jets roster as Chris Ivory is assumed to be his back-up and Bilal Powell at third string. Johnson and Ivory could be a dangerous 1-2 punch as Johnson's speed and Ivory strength, combined, could be fun to watch.
