Chris Sale Cruising Into All-Star Break as AL’s Best

Chris Sale as been as good as advertised for Boston. Sale was the big off-season acquisition and he's dominated just about every time out. Sale is 11-3 with a major league leading 166 strikeouts. If the Red Sox can get more quality starts from David Price and if Rick Porcello can turn his season around, Boston will be tough to beat atop the American League East.

Sale is the likely starter in next Tuesday's All-Star Game in Miami and he's certainly on track to be a Cy Young Award favorite as we get deep into the 2nd half of the season. The early year offensive woes of this Red Sox team plagued Sale's starts but his dominance now coupled with a clicking lineup and Boston is awfully tough to beat every fifth day when number 41 takes the mound.
