The Mets pitching staff will be in good hands with Manager Mickey Callaway and pitching coach Dave Eiland. Callaway comes to the Mets with no managerial experience but he’s a former pitching coach. And with pitchers and catchers reporting to Spring Training, Eiland is already getting rave review from the Mets starting staff. Eiland was the pitching coach on two World Series teams. He was with the 2009 Yankees and the 2015 Kansas City Royals who beat the Mets. Between Callaway and Eiland, all the right buttons will be pushed to try and keep Mets stellar arms healthy for a full season.
