The Coastal Carolina baseball team upset top-ranked Florida in the first game of the 2016 College World Series in Omaha on Sunday night.

While most of the world was watching the Cavaliers and the Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, the Chanticleers were beating the Gators 2-1.

Cohoes native and La Salle grad Zach Remillard went 2-4 with both RBIs in the win. It's been a great week for Remillard, who advanced to Omaha, helped Coastal to the opening win and was drafted in the 10th Round of the MLB Draft last week. He was taken by the White Sox. His brother is in the Cubs system.
