Connor Fields Drafted In The NLL

Former UAlbany lacrosse stand out Connor Fields could end up heading from Upstate New York to the West Coast. Fields was selected tenth overall in yesterday's National Lacrosse League (NLL) draft by the San Diego Seals. The Seals are an expansion team for the 2018-2019 season. The annoucment of Fields' selection is nothing new to the former Great Dane. In 2018, Fields was drafted third overall by the Charlotte Hounds in the Major League Lacrosse draft

Fields did participate in three games for the Charlotte Hounds this past summer. Despite losing Fields to graduation, the Great Danes are poised for another successful season in 2019. After a Final Four appearance in 2018, the Great Danes will try to match that success when they begin their 2019 campaign. An official opponent and date of game one has still yet to be announced.
