Cover 2 Podcast – NFL, NBA, New York Giants, New York Jets, Jason Bay, Charles Tillman, Andrew Luck
On this week’s edition of the Cover 2 Podcast, Pierce Brix and I give our “Still-too-early” impressions of the NFL season and discuss the NBA season, the Giants, Jets, and Andrew Luck’s place in the quarterback hierarchy. After week four, Brix and I presented our “Absurdly-too-early NFL impressions.” Now, after every team has played half their season, we do it again, this time of the “Still-might-be-too-early” variety. **iPad and iPhone users: Click the red link below the audio player to download each segment.**
Segment two opens with some discussion of the NBA season before transitioning back into the NFL. The respective states of the Giants and Jets are detailed, as well as the coaches we think are overrated and underrated.
As has become the trend, segment three is a patchwork of several smaller stories from the week. Jason Bay’s departure from the Mets, the 8 year-old girl tearing up pee wee football – and Brix’s absurd thoughts on the subject – and Rob Gronkowski’s pending dance invitation are all discussed, the middle of the three in particularly heated fashion.
Is Andrew Luck a top 10 quarterback in the NFL? Find out. It’s this week’s Outrageous Claim. This one gets a little…passionate…as well.
