Guarding the 6-foot-3 Rose was Raymond Felton and 7-foot-1 Tyson Chandler. Hands in Rose’s face with a sore neck, the 2011 NBA MVP nailed it.

The New York Knicks got the final look with 5.7 seconds remaining.

“We know where the ball is going,” said TNT analyst Steve Kerr. “This is a star league. It’s Carmelo’s turn.”

The ball went straight to Carmelo Anthony but even though the Bulls knew it, they didn’t feel the need to double him.

With only Luol Deng defending, ‘Melo took one dribble, and settled with a somewhat contested shot with his foot on the three-point line.

Boink.

Derrick Rose: 1
Carmelo Anthony: 0

The Bulls have won five in a row against the Bulls as the Knicks fall to 1-1 on the season.
