Blown leads were the story of the day in the NFL.  The Dallas Cowboys can add their name to that list as they lose a heart breaker to the Detroit Lions 34-30.  Everything looked to be going in the Cowboys favor, but in the second half things fell apart for "Americas Team".  Detroit scored 31 points in the second half, for another big comeback for the second week in a row.

Tony Romo and the Cowboys came out on fire.  He connected with Dez Bryant twice for TDs in the first half and kicker Dan Bailey would add a couple of field goals to that total putting Dallas on top 20-3 at the half.

In the third quarter Romo would throw 2 of his 3 interceptions and they were returned for TDs by the Lions.  Detroit would carry the defensive momentum over to the offensive side too.  Calvin Johnson had 96 yards on the day and 2 TDs, both of those coming in the fourth quarter to put the nail in the coffin that Dallas had built for themselves.

Dallas now sits at 2-2 in the NFC east, while Detroit is undefeated at 4-0, 3 of those wins coming on the road.
