It wasn't the prettiest of games, but a win is a win and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Redskins last night 18-16 behind 6 field goals by rookie kicker Dan Bailey.

The Dallas Cowboys were heading into a Monday night match up against division rival Washington pretty banged up.  Despite fractured ribs quarterback Tony Romo was able to do enough to get his team a win over the Redskins, and now they are tied for first place in the NFC East.

Make no mistake though, Romo was in pain and needed a second pain killing injection.  Was his head completely in the game?  Maybe, but the whole team still seemed to be in a daze.  Early snaps from Romo's center didn't help much either.  But Dallas remained focused despite all the mistakes.  Dan Bailey proved to have quite the reliable foot and sailed 6 through the up rights to score all of the Cowboy's points.

Washington made their fair share of mistakes as well.  Grossman and Romo played pretty similar, the only difference was that Grossman was able to connect for at least one TD pass on the night.  Unfortunately for the Redskins, Rex is Rex and he fumbled the ball late in the fourth quarter which was scooped up by Sean Lee with just 28 seconds left.  Dallas would get the ball and run out the clock for the 18-16 win.

The Cowboys, Redskins and Giants are all tied at 2-1 in the NFC East, while the struggling Eagles are currently at the bottom of the division at 1-2.  Next up for Dallas are the undefeated Detroit Lions on Sunday while Washington faces the St. Louis Rams.
