Getting double-figure scoring from four players, the UAlbany men's basketball team continued its perfect start to America East play (7-0) with a 69-55 win over UMBC on Sunday at SEFCU Arena.

The win also moves the Danes to 12-7 overall.

Wheeler Baker led the way with 14 points, Sam Rowley had 12 while Ray Sanders and Dallas Ennema added 11.

The big factor for the Danes was the bench, which outscored the Retrievers bench by a score of 26-5.

Point guard Evan Singletary led the Danes in rebounds with eight.

UAlbany will square off with Vermont in Burlington on Wednesday night.

*Note: The local high school scene was well represented at the game as UAlbany commit Joe Cremo (Scotia) and UMBC commit Joel Wincowski (Lake George) were in the stands.
