Coming off a tough loss at New Hampshire on Thursday, the UAlbany men's basketball team made some history on Sunday afternoon, recording 100 points for the first time against a Division 1 opponent.

The Danes (21-7, 10-3 America East), routed Maine, avenging a loss earlier in the season, 108-64 at SEFCU Arena.

Ten different Great Danes scored on Sunday, including Ray Sanders, who led UAlbany with 22 points on 9-14 shooting. Dallas Ennema added 16 as he hit four of the Danes' seven three-pointers.

Peter Hooley had 12 points while Evan Singletary had 11 and freshman Joe Cremo had nine.

Cremo suffered an injury in the second half as he landed hard on his back, but he returned to the bench later in the half.

UAlbany will host Stony Brook in a pivotal matchup on Wednesday night at SEFCU Arena in a rematch of last year's conference title game. UAlbany won that game, 51-50, as Peter Hooley hit a three-pointer with mere seconds to play.

Stony Brook won the earlier meeting this year.
