Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan absolutely posterized Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight on Sunday night.

DeAndre Jordan threw down a thunderous jam on Brandon Knight during a 129-97 win by the Clippers over the Pistons on Sunday night.  The Clippers added another chapter to their “Lob City” moniker as Jordan threw down his badooka dunk.  Sure, Jordan is listed at 6’11” while Knight is listed at 6’3”, but this is still one heck of a dunk.

Brandon Knight did his best to defend the alley oop, but things didn’t exactly work out swimmingly.  Jordan showed amazing athleticism for a big man by cocking the ball back and throwing it down while his body was contorted.  Brandon Knight was a good sport and tweeted, “It wasn’t in the scouting reports that the Clippers threw lobs lol.”  Good stuff.

The Clippers improved to (45-20) and are currently the #3 seed in the Western Conference behind the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder.  The Los Angeles Lakers improved to (33-31) with a 90-81 win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday (a game heard on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio).  How much fun would it be to see a Lakers-Clippers first round matchup?  That would be fantastic.  It’s possible.
