Derek Brown made his mark in both college and professional football. He's also a New York favorite. He was a standout at Notre Dame in college and won a national title with the Fighting Irish under Lou Holtz. In 1992 he was drafted in the first round by the New York Giants with the 14th overall pick. He played in the NFL for the better part of a decade for Giants, Jaguars, Raiders, and Cardinals.
