“I thought the start wasn't the right way to start a professional basketball game,” Fisher said after the New York Knicks 107-87 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. “Those guys that were in there to start the game, that was a disappointment to their teammates more than anything. Guys that start the game have to mentally and physically be ready to play, and they couldn’t put that out there. You know?

This is getting worst by the day. The Knicks have their President calling them out for having a loser mentality, now their coach has no faith in the starting lineup.

The Knicks have to start hitting that panic button. This type of season where everything just feels like is going the worst possible way, with no ending in sight is a scary situation.

Carmelo Anthony, who was one of the five yanked out of the game was shocked by the move. “Hopefully it woke everybody up at that point in time,” Anthony said. “To sub five and take the starters out early, quick like that … it kind of woke us up. That’s when we started to make a run and get the game back in control and see what happens from there."

How does this even happen? You just got paid a near max contract for a $120 plus million dollars, and you're not ready to go out and compete in the beginning of the game? If every defensive stop was a $100 bill going into their pockets, I bet this team would be doing a lot better.
