Derek Jeter went 0-for-4 against the Cleveland Indians in his return off of the disabled list on Monday.  Jeter will be overly scrutinized if the Yankees hit a cold streak.

Derek Jeter still remains just six hits shy of reaching 3,000 for his career.  The Yankees captain returned from the DL on Monday.  The Yankees lost to the Indians 6-3 on Monday in Jeter's first game back.

The Yankees went 14-4 in Jeter's absence.  They moved ahead of the Red Sox by 1.5 games.  The Yankees didn't get on a hot streak solely because Jeter went on the DL.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to foresee that if the Yankees hit a cold streak, Derek Jeter will receive the brunt of the blame unless he is absolutely knocking the cover off of the ball.
