The Yankees will activate Derek Jeter today for their afternoon game against the Royals.  This according to a late Wednesday night FoxSports.com report.  Jeter struggled in the field in what appears to be his last rehab game in Scranton.  Jeter had an error on a throw to first base, bobbled a grounder and couldn't get a lead runner out at third base.

The future Hall of Famer broke his ankle on October 13 against Detroit in the playoffs and had surgery to repair it.  Jeter later played five spring training games, but a new break was found on April 18, 2013.
