Derek Jeter To Be Honored Before Wednesday Night’s Game
The Los Angeles Angels will honor Derek Jeter tonight before the third and final game of the three-games series against the Yankees in Anaheim. The Yankees radio network released on Wednesday afternoon that the pre-game ceremonies would take 15-20 minutes.
Let it be known that so far this year whenever Jeter is honored before a game, he is 0-3 with a BB. That would be a .167 BA.
That's what happened on April 2nd in Houston whenever Jeter got a goofy pair of cowboy boots along with a cowboy hat from the Astros.
The bet on Armen and Levack is that I believe that Jeter's average will be 30% less than his season avg on night's that he is honored. In only the one game that we have to look to, compared to Jeter's season avg of .255, 70% of that would be .178.
So basically, I'm winning.
What will Game two of the Jeter Pre-Game Ceremonies bring? Find out tonight as Yankees vs. Angels coverage begins at 9:25pm on your home for New York Sports, 104-5 The Team.
