If you're looking for a sleeper remaining in the NCAA Tournament, Dick Vitale says look no further than the upside-down East Region.

"I had Michigan State as the sleeper," said Dick Vitale, with Armen and Levack, on 104.5 The Team. "I’ve said from day one that a team above five seed is a sleeper. The seven seed Michigan State is very dangerous.

"Tom Izzo has an incredible record when playing early in the tournament. He has a way of getting kids to play their best. They were a little up and down during the year but you can see you’re their potential. They should’ve won the Big 10 championship. They had Wisconsin beaten and let that one get away."

Michigan State's chances perhaps have increased as both No.1 Villanova and No.2 Virginia got ousted in round of 32.

"Both teams got beat because of one simple factor, they didn’t make shots. You can’t win when you go two for 17 shooting the three like Virginia did. Tom Izzo’s kids did a great job defending, they got a great start early in the game from Travis Trice. He scores 13 of their first 15 points. He was playing like the Magic Man when he was playing at Michigan State. It was unbelievable the show he put on early. They were able to build off that confidence and they were able to win, stomping Virginia two weeks in a row now.

"Villanova got beat by NC State who played really well. They executed and did a phenomenal job. Villanova has had tough times in March Madness."

No.7 Michigan State will face No.3 Oklahoma on Friday night at 10:07pm EST.

Dick Vitale joins Armen and Levack on 104.5 The Team, every Monday and Thursday at 5:15pm EST throughout the NCAA Tournament.
