Rex Ryan might not have known Dion Lewis's name before Sunday, but we'll bet he does after the Bills 40-32 loss to the Patriots at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Lewis, the Albany native, amassed more than 100 yards of total offense in the win for the defending Super Bowl champs.

He had six carries for 40 yards and a touchdown and also added six catches for 98 yards. He did lose a fumble -- it's his second consecutive week with a fumble.

Lewis had a great opener against the Steelers but people wondered what his role would be in Week 2 with the return of LeGarrette Blount from suspension.

I think the questions were answered though....Look at this.

Lewis played the seventh most snaps on offense, only behind Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, and three Patriots offensive lineman.

The Patriots take on the Jaguars next Sunday and Lewis should factor heavily into the gameplan once again.
