Kobe Bryant was hit hard in the face when Dwyane Wade accidentally hacked Kobe's nose in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game.  The Los Angeles Lakers announced on their website that Kobe had suffered a "nasal fracture."  A "broken nose" sounds much better in my opinion.  Anyway, when D-Wade unintentionally smacked Kobe in his face, the swipe actually made "The Black Mamba" bleed.

Who says there is no intensity in the NBA All-Star Game?  Sure, there wasn't great defense being played as the West beat the East 152-149, but at least there was some intensity.  There was a hard foul, blood, and a broken beak.  Now we're talkin'.  I'm not sure any player suffered an injury any worse than a hangnail in the 2012 NFL Pro Bowl.  At least there was a little bit of intensity in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game.
