It was a sloppy start, but the Philadelphia Eagles were of to an early lead against a San Francisco team that couldn't get anything going on offense.  At the end of the first half Philly was on top of San Francisco 20-3 and if they continued looked like they could really blow them out to improve to 2-2, instead of 1-3.

The second half was a completely different story.  The 49ers came out ready go and put up 21 big points against what looked to be a tired Philadelphia defense.  Michael Vick continued to make big plays, but the Eagles blew some big red zone opportunities.  The biggest misses of the day were the two field goals that rookie kicker Alex Henery.  The two field goals that he missed would of put the Eagles up for the win, but instead the 49ers were able to turn those possessions into points.

After San Francisco marched down the field to score in the fourth quarter to put them up 24-23, the Eagles had another shot.  Just get into field goal range and they could win it.  Vick made some big plays, but wide receiver Jeremy Maclin would fumble with just over 2 minutes left to play giving San Francisco the ball backa nd they would run out the clock and get the win.

Michael Vick did all that he could do throwing 416 yards, 2 TDs and an interception early.  The Eagles defense collapsed in the second half, and the pressure got to Henery.  The dream team?  Not so far.
