The Philadelphia Eagles are cleaning house, again. The Eagles have finalized a trade that sends running back DeMarco Murray to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for draft pick compensation. The deal is expected to be finalized when the new league year starts on Wednesday. This move, along with another they finalized the day before, show how the Eagles are planning to move on from the Chip Kelly era in Philadelphia.

Last year, Murray signed a five-year, $40 million contract with $21 million guaranteed with the Eagles. Murray agreed to rework the deal to help Tennessee out in acquiring him and retaining some cap space.

Murray will now be the #1 option in Tennessee, who lacks a leading rusher; their leading rusher last season was Antonio Andrews who rushed for 520 yards.

The Eagles also traded corner back Byron Maxwell and linebacker Kiko Alonso to the Miami Dolphins.
