The 12-year veteran safety was cut from the Houston Texans on Wednesday and signed by the Jets less than 24 hours later.

“I’m working on two hours of sleep right now,” said Reed. “I went out there and practiced. I’ll be fine.”

Reed could be implemented in the game plan in some way, shape or form this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
