Former Siena star Edwin Ubiles signed a 10-day contract with the Washington Wizards on Sunday.

On Wednesday, he became the first former Siena player to appear in an NBA regular season game, when he played against the New Jersey Nets.

Ubiles finished the game with four points on 1-for-4 shooting, while also grabbing four rebounds and finishing with one steal in the Wizards 108-89 victory over the Nets. He played 15 minutes, pretty much split between the first and second half.

Ubiles is the third all-time leading scorer for Siena, finishing his career in 1,939 points. He helped the Saints win three Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships and earn two victories in the NCAA tournament.

Ubiles was playing for the Dakota Wizards, where he was averaging 20.1 points per game.

At Siena, Ubiles also grabbed 560 rebounds, dished out 273 assists, had 157 steals and 95 blocked shots. He shot 50 percent from the field for his career, while averaging double figures in each of his four seasons for the Saints, reaching double digits in 106 of the 131 games he played, while scoring 20 points or more 32 times.
