Former Siena Saints star Edwin Ubiles's stay in the NBA was short and kinda sweet. It was also historic.

Ubiles signed to a 10 day contract watched as that 10 days expired without the Wizards adding to his stay and not offering an additional 10 day. Ubiles played in 4 games for the lousy Wiz and averaged 3.5 points per game. Ubiles will be replaced by another D league player, Curtain Martin who comes back to Washington after playing in Iowa. martin has played sporadically for the Wiz the past 2 years.

For ubiles the stay may have been short but it was also historic. He became the 1st player from Siena player to see action in the NBA's regular season.

Ubiles now heads back to the D league's Dakota Wizards but he leaves hungry for more of the the show.

Ubiles agent Cervando Tejeda says Ubiles is humbled and hungry getting a little taste of the NBA and ready to work hard to get back to the Association.
