Giants Iron man Quarterback Eli Manning says he's ready to go, even if the trainers disagree.

“I already feel like I can go out there and do everything,” Manning said, via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. “We’ll still be smart about it these next few weeks and not overdo anything. If they want to limit me somewhat, I’ll understand that. But I want to take every single rep and they know that.”

This is great news for Giants fans still worried about the possibility of Curtis Painter, Ryan Nassib or Josh Freeman being your opening day starter. You'll notice I left out Rusty Smith who has been released by the Giants. That is also a great sign that Eli is close to being ready if not already there.
