Eli Manning's prayers were answered when his 37-yard Hail Mary heave to the end zone was caught by Hakeem Nicks for a touchdown.

This 37-yard Hail Mary completion to Hakeem Nicks gave the New York Giants a 20-10 lead at halftime.  The Giants went on to beat the Green Bay Packers 37-20 in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs.

Although this is a great catch by Hakeem Nicks, pay attention to #24 Jarrett Bush and #37 Sam Shields.  They were jogging down the field and were in no position to bat the ball down before Hakeem Nicks could catch it.  This is an unforgivable mistake.  There were only :06 seconds left in the second quarter.  It was obvious the Giants were throwing the ball deep.  What were these guys thinking?  It was one of many mistakes the Packers made on Sunday that the Giants were able to take advantage of.  Give credit to the Giants, but don't forget to blame the Packers on this play.  Brutal defense.
