Eli Manning vs. Tom Brady [NoeBrainer]

Eli Manning says he's in the same class as Tom Brady. Puff puff give, Eli. Going into the 2011 season, is Eli Manning one of the top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL?

Eli Manning is one of the most interesting players in the NFL.  He has been good at times and bad at others.  You can praise Eli by citing his Super Bowl win over the Patriots and Super Bowl MVP.  You can also criticize Eli by mentioning his league-leading 25 interceptions last season and inconsistent play. 

2011 will be Eli Manning's 8th season in the NFL.  He's been an NFC Pro Bowler once in his career.  Eli Manning is noticeably better than the bottom half of the quarterbacks in the NFL.  He also is noticeably worse than the best QB in the league, Tom Brady.  For whatever reason, we spend most of our time comparing Eli to Brady and the other top QBs in the league, instead of comparing Eli to the QBs that are below him.  Maybe it's time we did the latter.
