Elijah Burns On Why He Came Home And The NCAA Ruling [AUDIO]

It's been a pretty eventful first season for Jamion Christian and the Siena Saints Men's Basketball program so far. Not only has Christian himself made his debut in Loudenville but Troy's own Elijah Burns has come home. After completing his degree at Notre Dame Burns decided to transfer to Siena finish his college basketball career back home in the Capital Region.

NCAA rules don't allow a student athlete to suit up and play for more than one school in a season so Burns has not been able to play for the Saints just yet. However Coach Christian is appealing the decision and hopes to have Burns playing in real games for Siena this season. When speaking to Burns he was clear that even though he wants on the court in the worst way he always knew sitting this season was a possibility and isn't wasting any time feeling sorry for himself. When Burns can play for Siena he will be a welcome addition that will bring not only talent but also great character with him.
