Since the NBA Lottery happened and the New York Knicks found out they will be picking at the No.4 position, there has been rumors of the Knicks trading the pick for a veteran. The Phoenix Suns have apparently started shopping around its starting point guard Eric Bledsoe, and their 13th overall pick.

The 25-year old point guard averaged 17 points and 6.1 assists per game last year. Bledsoe is a smaller but extremely quick and athletic combo guards who looks to set up teammates and can also score.

This should be a slam dunk for Phil Jackson. This is a top tier point guard, who's contract isn't out of control, and still leaves you plenty of money to sign another max player. The Knicks will then slide down to the No.13th pick, which is still in the lottery. Right now Trey Lyles, who Phil Jackson has seemed to take a liking to could still be there at 13. Worst comes to worst, the Knicks select Devin Booker, and possibly have the next Klay Thompson in your back pocket.

If you have a roster with Bledsoe, Carmelo Anthony, Tim Hardaway Jr., and UFA Greg Monroe you have an actual chance to make some noise in the eastern conference.
