On Wednesday, Ken Griffey Jr. earned election into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. He joins Mike Piazza as the only selections in this years class.

And he did it in style, earning the highest percentage of votes in history (99.3 percent). He was selected on 437 of 440 ballots. I can't imagine the three people who left him off.

Griffey's 630 home runs, 13 all-star appearances, and 10 gold gloves give Griffey one of the best career resumes in baseball history.

We brought in Bob Stelton of ESPN in Seattle to talk about Griffey's election to the Hall of Fame, what it was like to witness Griffey on a nightly basis, the defining moment of his career and also: He tells us that Seattle would not have a baseball team anymore if not for the impact of Ken Griffey Jr.

Bob Stelton is the host of the "Bob, Groz, and Tom" show on ESPN 710 in Seattle.
