"Much to my parents chagrin, they were like, ‘You want to do, what?’", said Edwards, on the set with Armen and Levack, while at the track on Friday.

"I started working on the back-stretch. Saratoga was one of my first jobs, as a hot-walker, the people that cool the horses off and walk them around. I had no idea what I was doing but I wanted to ride and train race horses so I did that for 10 years.

"That’s actually what got me into television because as life takes you in different directions, my second career began and evolved into broadcasting. I started covering horse racing for ESPN in the late 1990’s."

ESPN spent the day at Saratoga on Saturday and were LIVE from their SportsCenter that morning, as part of their 'SportsCenter on the Road Summer Series'.

Side note (shh... this is a secret, don't tell anyone): Jeanine Edwards told us that Kenny Mayne has 'ankle issues' and cuts the back half of his dress shoes so that he can just slip his shoes on.

Low and behold, on SportsCenter, check out Kenny's shoes!
