ESPN’s College Gameday Selects Texas A&M, Passes on UAlbany

Unfortunately Albany, NY will not be hosting ESPN College Gameday for the UAlbany Great Danes football match against Richmond on October 8th. ESPN instead decided to visit College Station, Texas home of the Texas A&M Aggies as their spot for the game. The Aggies are undefeated and will take on fellow SEC foe Tennessee. This will mark the third time in six weeks that a Tennessee game has been featured on College Gameday. Earlier in the week, ESPN producer Lee Fitting joined "Levack and Goz" and noted that Albany, NY had been added to the list of cities to be considered for the event. UAlbany hosts Richmond this Saturday. Richmond is projected to enter the game as a top five team at the FCS level while Albany will enter the game both nationally ranked and undefeated. 1045 The Team is your home for Great Danes Football.
