Who doesn't like a good rematch? Especially of a game that was just a 1 goal difference this past regular season and with a trip to the Final Four on the line. When college lacrosse's NCAA Tournament bracket was released, there was no way UAlbany would think to look past its first round matchup against the defending national champs. But the Great Danes would have been told many times between the selection show and that first round game with North Carolina that Maryland would likely be waiting in Delaware.

And so here we are. The Terps came to Albany in the middle of April and beat the Danes by a goal despite a final minute possession that ended in the stick of Teewaraton Award finalist Connor Fields. There is no reason to think this rematch won't be any different and won't be just as close. Buckle up for Sunday's game at 2:30pm in Newark, DE.
