It was a rough return to Atlanta for Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick.  The Falcons would beat the Eagles with a fourth quarter rally, 35-31.

The Philadelphia Eagles, or better known this year as "The Dream Team", knew that going into Atlanta to face the Falcons wasn't going to be easy.  Not only was it Michael Vick's return to his former team as a starter, but Atlanta was crushed in Week 1 against Chicago, they wanted to win.

The first half of the game would end in disaster for Vick and the Eagles.  he would lose the ball in the red zone while attempting to fake a hand off the running back LeSean McCoy.  That would set Atlanta up for their second touchdown of the game.  The first half would end with Atlanta up 14-10, rather than the Eagles leading 17-7.

It was obvious that Vick was shaken as he took the field in the third quarter and immediately threw an interception in the Eagles first possession of the second half.  He would bounce back thanks to some rushing by LeSean McCoy, but it would be the end of a play late in the third where he was knocked into his own lineman.  Vick would suffer a concussion, no telling how serious it was or how long he'll be out for.

Matt Ryan would have a career game for Atlanta.  He would throw for 195 yards and 4 TD's, which would make up for the two big picks he threw earlier in the game.  Tow of those TD's would land in the hands of Tony Gonzalez who would catch 7 passes last night which moves him past Terrell Ownens to the fifth all time spot for career receptions.  Michael Turner would also have a big game for Atlanta as he rushes for 114 yards and a score.

Next up for the Falcons are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  The Eagles get set to take on the Giants next Sunday in their home opener in Philly.
