James Ferentz isn't a name you probably knew too much about heading into Super Bowl 50. He's an offensive lineman who serves as a backup for the Denver Broncos.

But he has a local connection: Ferentz played at Iowa, where he blocked for Capital Region product (Troy High School) Jordan Canzeri. Canzeri helped the Hawkeyes advance to the Rose Bowl this past season while rushing for just under 1,000 yards.

Ferentz joined Levack and myself on Tuesday at Media Day to talk about Canzeri and his chances in the NFL. Furthermore, Ferentz talked about the oddity in playing for his father at Iowa -- and for his brother.

Ferentz also told us about his experience with Peyton Manning and what it's like playing for the legendary Broncos signal-caller.

Watch Ferentz and the rest of the Broncos on Sunday night as they take on the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco.
