After a huge day last Saturday, highlighted by the Travers Stakes, the days are winding down at fabulous Saratoga.

The gates close for the year after the session comes to an end. The official close is after Labor Day on Monday.

Some of the events and features for the final week are: Veterans day. The track invites all current or retired military heroes for free Grand Stand admission all day. NYRA presents the day and festivities which include a tribute to those NYRA employees who are on active duty or retired from the armed services.

On Thursday the 30th the NYRA will conduct a Q & A. The goal is to help create ways to get more people into racing and how to improve horse racing.

Friday is family fun day in a special area from noon to 4 pm, featuring free and fun events for any age and karaoke to help sing out the season!

Sunday you can enjoy a more enhanced family fun day and the final stretch music festival.

To close out the season on Monday it's the 108th running of the Chimney's Hopeful for 2 year old hopefuls which could be a prelude to next years Travers Stakes and Kentucky Derby.
