First and last. Literally. Mike Golic, Jr is on the fast track to big things at ESPN, but that doesn't come without sacrifice. The former Notre Dame offensive lineman is on from 4am-6am, leading into his father's show Golic and Wingo. Junior stays on for the opening hour of G&W, but the life of a sports fan calls for some late nights still, watching games live and not relying on social media snippets to tell the story and perspective he must deliver each morning to an early morning audience, many of whom are driving to ESPN for the AM SportsCenter.

Golic, Jr says he's known for a long time that he wanted to be in sports broadcasting. He grew up around it. With his dad calling college football games, Jr. would go on some of those weekend trips, observing and soaking up any and all knowledge he could.
