Pictured above is North Carolina Guard Cameron Johnson, who suffered a back injury during the final minutes of the ACC Tournament. Johnson is a key factor to UNC's tournament hopes. With any luck, he will not have to miss much time on the court. However, some of those minutes Johnson isn't on the court would mean former Guilderland star Andrew Platek could be.

Obviously fans of the North Carolina Tar Heels are hoping Johnson will play as many minutes as needed to cut down the nets in San Antonio ,but here in the Capital Region more minutes for Freshman Andrew Platek would be great. Platek is averaging a little over seven minutes a game for UNC. Platek would most likely share any available guard minutes with Sophomore Brandon Robinson.

UNC begins their tournament voyage in the West Region tomorrow at 2:15 pm against Lipscomb. This #2 Vs #15 match up could be the perfect scenario for a Freshman like Andrew Platek to get some valuable tournament minutes. Let's hope Head Coach Roy Williams agrees.
